Music Notes

St. Jane Frances de Chantal welcomes registered parishioners to participate in Music Ministry.  Most participants are asked to have completed their sacraments through confirmation.  Children's choir participants must have completed their first Communion.  Opportunities for singers and instrumentalists are plentiful.

The Parish Choir is a group of parishioners that come together every Wednesday evening during the school year for rehearsal, and sing during the 9:00am liturgy most weeks.  Choir members have finished all of their sacraments, have musical experience (high school or college choir) and have had a vocal assessment with the Director.  See or call William Harrison to discuss joining!

Instruments in Praise is a group of parishioners that meets twice monthly to add music to Saturday afternoon worship at 5:00pm.  Members work independently to learn their music, and rehearse on Saturdays at 3:30pm.  Group members have finished all of their sacraments and have better than average ability on their instrument.  See or call William Harrison to discuss joining!

Children's Choir is a group of young parishioners that have completed their first Communion.  The group meets seasonally according to their availability and adds music to worship in the same manner.
